Nairobi in the details: Saturated in colors

Black and white is nice – sophisticated even.

But if God had made it a black-and-white world, we’d never know how many hues make up a sunrise or a sunset. We’d never know how a person’s eye can turn so many different shades of blue.

Thankfully, Kenya is color.

Paint it red

Red is great. Red with a filigree of gold shot through it? Gorgeous.

Pretty in pink

Those ants sure have good taste.

Soaking up the sun

I love hibiscus, but I really love double hibiscus flowers.

Make that hot pink

As a rule, I don’t like to wear pink or to decorate with pink. But when it comes to floral explosions of color, I say make it neon.

*Note: No color enhancement needed.
